I've been a big fan of yours since the late 70's. I was doing an unrelated search when I found to my surprise that you all have released a new album ur CD; "Kitchens of Distinction". What can I say, you've made my day. With none of the new "popular" music to my liking hearing you all again takes me back to a simpler day and time when rock, now classic rock, ruled the airwaves. Thank you all for taking the time to reunite and making the effort to record a new album together. Us "classic rockers really appreciate your efforts immensely. Any chance of you all releasing a LIVE CD in the for foreseeable future? Take care of yourselves and don't feel you have to wait 20+ years to release your next CD.

Sincerely!
Asche Ackerman.

Just going through my old albums and came across "No Second Chance"...what a rush of memories. I was 17 and remember cranking it up on my friends parents Zenith console. Great memories...great music!

I still play the album Fantasy Girls and enjoy it a lot. I remember seeing Charlie live at Exeter University during the 70's - fantastic performance.

As already highlighted, the www.charlie-music.com is open for business.

The email I received from Julian Colbeck:-

To friends, family, and professional acquaintances who might be interested in such, a new Charlie website - Charlie one of the great but only partly 'sung' UK bands of the 70s/80s with whom I cranked out four albums - to coincide with the release (shock, horror) of a brand new offering, Kitchens Of Distinction (VoicePrint) is now live.

Do please peruse http://www.charlie-music.com whenever the fancy takes you. Your comments, compliments, or condolences will of course be greatly appreciated.

Julian.

The new website is up and running and it has some fantastic media on it.

Live material from 1973 and 1977 and five Terry Slesser tracks never issued.

Also, if that's not enough there is the video's to Killer cut and It's Inevitable.
