Dear all you dog lovers, I'm a 14 year old girl with very few friends and lots of time on her hands. I've wanted a dog since the time I could walk and I now I'm as determined as ever! My friend's dog is having a litter of puppies(ACDs)and I would love to have one, but we can't afford the initial cost. I don't really know what you people can do for me, but I wanted to try. I'm now as lonely as ever and I cry myself to sleep at night because I want a dog so bad. I know all of the responsibilities coming with a puppy and I'd really like to have one. Please! If anybody knows a way they can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it! Please! Anjie

I am from Australia and I own 2 cattle dogs. One is a 10 yo bitch called Flash and the other is a 6 month old male named Rocky. I never knew there was so much interest in this breed in Europe and America. One thing, in a lot of the photos I have seen on the net, the dogs have their tails cropped. Why is that done? we don't do that here in Australia. There is no valid reason to crop any dogs tail!
