I don’t know if a place we visit in a dream is real. But I tend to agree with Rick Strassman, M.D. and late Terence McKenna. Hallucination patterns are easy to recognize. They have been clearly described in medical literature. So if it is not a hallucination and the place is so foreign to us that we cannot even define/describe it clearly, it seems like a reasonable to conclude that we could not have imagined it. Therefore, it could be real.
